How to read our thermal images

Have you ever wondered how thermal imaging can so precisely identify insulation issues with homes? This post explains how our images can detect buildings that are literally “heating the street.”

Our thermal captures are conducted at night, when ambient temperatures are lower. This minimizes interference from daily activities (such as cooking or lighting) and removes sunlight as a variable, ensuring a neutral and accurate thermal reading.

Once our thermal captures are tuned, temperature differences are easily seen.
