Skilled Mapping joins the Paris&Co family

Back in January 2025 we took a decisive step in strategy by moving into the Paris innovation ecosystem: Skilled Mapping became an official member of Paris&Co, the City of Paris’ economic-development and innovation agency.

Paris&Co is Europe’s largest municipal incubator. Each year it supports more than 500 French and international start-ups, channelling expertise across a dozen sector-specific platforms while staying focused on “sustainably transforming Paris” through innovation. The agency’s latest Mapping 2025 shows 178 active or alumni companies whose core mission is positive social or environmental impact - proof that purpose and growth can go hand in hand. 

Those numbers mattered to us. Skilled Mapping’s thermal imaging tools are designed for planners, utilities and community groups who want to build greener, more inclusive neighbourhoods. In just the first few months, our Paris&Co membership has allowed us to tap into : 

• Structured impact training. We’ve participated in workshops on carbon accounting, inclusive design and social impact - useful homework for our mission-led start-up.

• Policy access. Paris&Co has already facilitated meetings with officials from Paris and the surrounding region, helping us understand how our data can inform better decision-making on current policy priorities. 

• A peer network. From after-work meet-ups to investor networking, we’re swapping lessons (and the occasional croissant) with start-ups tackling food waste, circular logistics and urban biodiversity. The cross-pollination is energising, and often sparks ideas we bring straight back to our office at the Urban Lab. 

The next semester will be about scaling responsibly and continuing to learn from the entrepreneurs around us who are re-imagining how Paris works. Thank you to the Paris&Co team for such a warm welcome, and we look forward to continuing to grow with your support!
