Thermal intelligence, in service of the energy transition

We capture thermal images, analysed by our proprietary AI models, capable of processing millions of images at scale.

Why?

To provide a comprehensive energy diagnosis of entire areas, identifying building types and their thermal behaviors.

We prioritise them based on their heat loss levels, helping you target the most critical renovation needs.

Our Mission :

More efficient buildings to meet social and climate goals

14 million

homes in the UK lack sufficient insulation

In the UK, over half of homes (just under 14 million) still lack sufficient insulation, contributing to higher emissions and energy bills (EDF, 2024).

Governments are taking action to upgrade homes, including in France, where the Government has committed to eradicating ‘passoires thermiques’ (thermal sieves) by 2030, and is placing rental bans on the most inefficient homes.

Building renovations are vital to reduce direct emissions in buildings, 80% of which are associated with space and water heating.
— International Energy Agency (2023)

Our solution can address major challenges currently faced by owners and occupants of poorly insulated homes :

  • A resident is 3 times more likely to undertake energy efficiency upgrades if they have seen a thermal image of their homes (Plymouth University, 2016).

  • 61% of French residents aren’t aware of financial aid programs that exist to lower the cost of home renovations (Monde de la Maison, 2025). Additionally, poor quality control has led to a loss of trust in the effectiveness of renovations.

  • Current diagnostic tools, such as the Diagnostic de Performance Énergétique (DPE) in France or the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in the UK, are often outdated, with reports averaging 9 years old. In France, it’s estimated that 1.3 million DPE reports are inaccurate, leading to ineffective renovations and misdirected investments (KRNO, 2024).

  • Thermography currently costs around 250€ per home. We estimate that our solution could cut this cost significantly thanks to its scalability.

Our Offering :

Reliable, wide-scale thermal data

Thanks to our advanced thermal capture technology, coupled with powerful AI models, we offer municipalities and other stakeholders a comprehensive diagnosis that is:

Fast : Our solution is widely deployable, offering faster, more up-to-date thermal data than traditional handheld imagery or energy diagnostics.

Readable : Based on scientific measurements, our thermal reports and maps are easy to interpret, providing clients with actionable insights and automated recommendations tailored to their needs.

Cost-effective : The speed of data capture allows us to collect vast amounts of information at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. Automation drives down analysis costs and accelerates decision-making.

How to Read Our Thermal Images

We detect buildings that are literally “heating the street.”

Our thermal captures are conducted at night, when ambient temperatures are lower. This minimizes interference from daily activities (such as cooking or lighting) and removes sunlight as a variable, ensuring a neutral and accurate thermal reading.

Pinpointing the Problem

The value of thermal imaging extends beyond simply showing overall building performance. Our captures also reveal specific issues, allowing for a more precise diagnosis.
