Thermography is a technology that captures heat from objects on camera. It requires the use of highly advanced equipment. Skilled Mapping has developed its own equipment to specifically use this technology to look at heat loss from homes, providing homeowners with clear insights into energy inefficiencies.

Before Skilled Mapping, there was no solution capable of operating at a city-wide scale, quickly enough to take advantage of optimal cold weather conditions, and at a competitive price. Our innovative technology now makes it possible to conduct large-scale thermal imaging efficiently and affordably.

A study by Plymouth University showed that people are almost four times more likely to take retrofit action after seeing a thermal image compared to just reading a written comment.
